I remember a video where you used the subthump box and in this one you used b box. After using both which one would you recommend?

Honestly I couldn't tell sound wise. Mabey a little but better with the subthump and build wise subthump was more built but this b box one is good. I've had no issues but the subthump was nicer. Just got this one cause at the time I was on a budget

Are you running two amps for two subs? I’m having issues with my setup, I had a 1000w amp powering two kickers and it started smoking as soon as power went through.

No just one amp for both subs. Thats gotta be a wiring issue or amp. Check and make sure wires are big enough for that power, make sure all of the connections ate tight and making good contact especially the ground. Or could be a bad amp

They come down. But not flat and I can lay on them to adjust my amp levels but I wouldn't like stay there for hours lol

Yeah probably not. U would roll into the rear of the cab lol if u need to sleep in your truck...I would get the box that fits on the wall of the cab vs this box

Man I was hoping they were 12s it seems that they don’t make a 12in box. You think I can modify/cut the box to fit 12s?

@@gaviningalls9849 yeah no big sub companies makes duel down facing boxes. 12s are too big for the space needed. These 10s hit HARD though. But u can find people who will make a custom 12 inch box as for making the hole bigger i doubt it work out in size and space for air and the magnet on the sub

@@rikkidiesel the module, I have a 2007 classic Silverado crew cab, for the most part it’s very similar. I have subs and amp and I am going to install it this weekend along w sound dampening the truck. I was thinking I could also switch out the speakers on the doors but I am not sure how the Bose system will affect the swap. I’ve seen your videos on it but I’m still not too confident on it. For example what is the capacitator for I haven’t seen it and the module as well.

@@baylor3769 its basically like a battery next to your amp for surges of power. So instead of power traveling all the way from your actual battery to your amp which takes a bit of time you have power right there like a few inches from the amp and it can give it power alot sooner making your amp just have power almost on demand. Plus it helps your subs from making your headlights dim with the bass cause of the drain of power.
