Yes, it should be ok. However, it's important to keep in mind that if you plan on connecting your storage device directly to a Fire TV device, there's a limit to the size of files that can be read. Specifically, only files that are up to 4GB in size can be accessed.

Hello Tanya, I downloaded the live sports app and watched it one time and the next time I tried to watch it has a pop up screen that says check your network but theirs nothing wrong with my network, everything else works just fine.
