Question, would it be best to virtualized the Entire TrueNas Scale INCLUDING Disk for backing it up? ( Virtual Disk ) since running PBS can take care of the entire backup of the TNS VM

if you are doing something simple like i did here yes you will also need to thick about space and the number of backups in time your are keeping

Can I migrate an existing TrueNAS Scale setup (installed on the bare computer) to Proxmox and keep my pools, configuration, shares etc.?

First I must say exactly video and thank you for all your hard work, but I have a question I have truenas scale installed in proxmox and I would like to share my pool or smb share with all my media files to my Plex container in proxmox is this possible, If so could you point me in the right direction please..?

I don't use plex so the queston here is can you view your files from your local folders or do you need a drive. If you can from a folder, this will get your smb drive to a folder in the container kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZSmln6aYplsja8 but this is read only . you might be able to stop here after testing. if not you will need to mash this in as well kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5KVgmqqj7uiopo i was made for usb but should only need to change /mnt/bindmounts/shared for this mp0: /mnt/bindmounts/shared,mp=/shared command and this chown -R 1005:1005 /mnt/bindmounts/shared command.

I had TrueNAS Core running on ProxMox and moved to Scale when it was released. Works fine.

I don't know :( i have bought 3 different mics and none seam to change quality. I did just pic up a hs65 headset to try I do hope that it helps. Editing and Sound are my least favorite part of doing this, But i do fell that i am helping people to learn so i keep making videos. For me this is about teaching and learning for me and the community
