Installation Airzone - Mitsubishi Heavy communication gateway

In this video we show how to set up a Mitsubishi Heavy communication gateway.
• Gateway presentation: communication gateway is comprised of:
o System controller connector and fixation turret,
o Configuration microswitch, explained forward,
o And Daikin, Mitsubishi Heavy, Hitachi AC connector.
• Gateway connections:
Connection and configuration must be done without power supply of both Airzone system and AC unit. To plug the Communication gateway on the system main controller, use the turret and the connector on both elements to align connection.
For the connection of the AC unit and the gateway, on the gateway there is a two-pins aereal connector. Pay attention to wiring so that X and Y (MHI).
For the connection you can use Airzone cable or 2 multifilar cables. Be cautious on doing any connection so that no false contact may happen and wires are firmly tight.
• Configuration:
After connections are completed,see installation Sheet to configure micro-switch to match your installation: If there is a bypass damper or the number of ventilation speeds available on the indoor unit. This micro-switch settings modifies the information exchanged between the AC indoor unit and the Airzone system looking for a better performance.
Once connections and configuration are completed, power supply AC unit and Airzone system at the same time. You can visually check the correct working of the Airzone Communication Gteway by watching the LEDs on it:
o (señalar D3 y D4) Airzone main controller Communication LED's that are blinking while there is active communication with Airzone main controller.
o (señalar D5 y D6) AC unit Communication LEDs that are blinking while there is active Communication with the AC Unit
o (señalar D1) LED de alimentación que debe estar iluminado fijo
o (señalar D2) Y Communication Gateway activity LED that is blinking every time it is powered.
Following this connection instructions and checking the correct working of it, thanks to the Q-Adapt functionality, you can even configure the ventilation selection map so that the airflow can be adjusted more accurately to every installation
