got a grill overlay for my 21 GMC work truck, everything looks good but the directions don't mention anything about this little tube of adhesion promoter, what is it for and where do you use it?

How durable are these inserts? Like will they fall off when I’m driving down the interstate and are they safe to run through a car wash?

This grille is installed using 3M® tape. It also comes with alcohol wipes and promoter. You do want the part and surface that the part is being installed on to be above 50° you can heat the areas up but please be careful not to damage the part or the vehicle with any such as a heat gun etc. The alcohol wipe will clean the area first and the promoter will make the surface tacky for optimal adherence. If installed correctly it should not come off even during a car wash or interstate driving.
