One thing I could never figure out: Is this a browser app? Is this a cloud app? Does it only work while being online?

If you're referring to Omniverse USD Composer, it's a Windows program from Nvidia, similar to iClone, that runs locally on your machine

Hi @roxylindholm5179, Omniverse is a series of applications created by NVIDIA. We utilize the USD Composer to do offline lighting and rendering for iClone to achieve more realistic results. With its GPU rendering capabilities, we can render scenes with more efficiency and flexibility. For more information, visit the product page: www.reallusion.com/iclone/nvidia-omniverse/ For more tutorials about lighting and rendering in the USD Composer, please watch these tutorials: courses.reallusion.com/home/iclone/pipelines/omniverse?v=iclone-omniverse-connector-tutorial-getting-started-with-iclone-connector courses.reallusion.com/home/iclone/pipelines/omniverse?v=iclone-omniverse-connector-tutorial-light-settings-in-iclone-and-omniverse

Hello, thanks for the tutorial. Why can't I also import characters? Thanks

Hi @LesRacinesDuSavoir, You can definitely import characters into USD Composer by either using Live Link with iClone or just importing a .USD file into the scene. If your characters are created after the Live Link has been established, you will need to update all the characters in USD Composer by clicking the ""Transfer"" button.
