In Bangalore they are pretty strict about after market exhausts. Its illegal all over India but in Bangalore they are very strict and many bikers have their bikes seized and exhausts destroyed.

@@brendonfernandes2877 yeah this is quite a serious issue cause an aftermarket exhaust gives a whole new riding feel. I mean atleast inline 3 and inline 4 should have the option to change the exhausts. I understand that this exhaust rule is appropriate for those who put free flow exhausts or exhausts on a single cylinder bike as in single cylinder bikes most of the aftermarket exhausts are with irritating noise. I think that this exhaust rule should not be there for superbikes(atleast inline 4 and inline3)

@@rishichaudhary2593 Any modification is sadly illegal in India. I too have an illegal silencer but only because it gives me 10mm additional ground clearance because my bike has just 130mm ground clearance. Sadly illegal exhausts are banned but illegally built speedbreakers are no problem :(

Its Honda made quick shifter. Its available in bigwing now. I see a 650F in your dp. If its for the F version, unfortunately this part wont be fitting, as per bigwing.

That's a really good review and informative video, this topic is very undiscussed in india, really well explained. I understand the energy thing on the highway, i have used auto blip and quickshifter seamlessly for a decade now, but it's a absurd thing to have a quick shifter or a autoblipper on a bike that's not chasing tenths on a racetrack, it's basically a showoff for city bikes, and for tourers , it's kinda an extra thing, on the cbr 650r ( pretty much track focused), it's ok to do it ! Well done ! Go with the stock exhaust, loud ones are gonna hurt ears for touring.

My point too! Doesn't the assisted clutch (never rode a bike with it) give a light feel? So it's okay to be pulling the clutch every now and then. I mean, it won't be hurting your hands, right?

Yes and no. You still control when the gear shifts. Its just that you don't use the clutch. Also since the CBR 650R doesn't have an auto blipper you can't use the quickshifter for downshifts only upshifts. So for down shifts you still need to use the clutch as Strell did towards the very end of the video at 08:06

Nope. If your bike doesn't have the quickshifting coupler then need an after market ECU and a quickshifter. But that's an expensive proposition.

@@abhishekpandey-r7l Any bike built for performance can be more fun to ride with a quickshifter. The only issue is the cost of a quickshifter which is expensive for such bikes. The ECU costs 18k and the quickshifter around 12k. So that's expensive. And when selling the bike you won't get much value for the ECU. Also the ECU helps more for more powerful bikes. The best bikes to use quickshifters are the Dukes, Honda CB300R and the TVS 310.
