Pretty sure drop spindles don't change your suspension travel. Unless the full sizes are different in some way.
@SniderTron30004 жыл бұрын
It changes the center line of the wheel. Imagine the truck is doing a wheelie, right? With stock spindle the wheel will be hanging down 2 inches further than with the drop spindles. But what that means really is that the front of the truck can lift 2 inches further and the tire still be contacting the road. Which means a LOT more weight can be transferred and still be able to stear. Idk if I'm explaining it right. Its 6am I just woke up lol
@MrBReal-xc7qm4 жыл бұрын
trucks have more compression travel than extension from design. drop spindles even w/ drop shocks reduce that amount. it's not optimal for weight transfer

Hey bro do you know any good alternator brands i keep taking my 5.3 pass 6krpms and the alternator breaks am on the 7 now
@tannerharkey4 жыл бұрын
You have a different problem If you’re going through alternators that fast, I’d replace the charge harness or at least check it. The alternators will take 6700 rpms rigorously.
@jomanout58663 жыл бұрын
@Ruben Wong It's a ratio problem, most likely not wiring or alternator related. If your crank pulley is 6" but your alternator pulley is 2", the alternator will spin at 3x engine rpm. So 6000 engine rpm = 18000 alternator rpm. The pulley sizes I made up for example's sake, I'm willing to bet your ratio is too much and that's why it keeps breaking alternators. You can find different alternator pulley sizes to put on your alternator to address this issue. If you go too large on alternator pulley diameter then it will not charge at idle, so you'll want to find a happy medium
