The saying I remember when I do stuff like that - "If you do something stupid, don't advertise it". But you Content Creators are more endearing to your subscribers when you show us some of your imperfections... that you are human, just like us - and mistakes aren't the end of the world. It really is encouraging knowing stuff like that. I'm sorry that happened... but you took it as yet another challenge to overcome (as if you needed another one) and then overcame it. You are going to LOVE this building the more you use it. Thanks for sharing this project with us.

Good job Mark! Never easy being a one man show especially working with long floppy material at elevation! The bay support, well stuff just happens and we can beat the heck out of our selves but "Oh Well" right!! Your shed looks great and will serve you well! Good job MMR!

The work never ends. But its better to damage your own stuff than if you're helping a friend. Mistakes always feel worse that way.

Wrap the bottom six feet of the posts with 6x2, being sacrificial they will take scrapes and knocks and give some strength, but not direct hits from your excavator !

Well, now I know and you were driven to get that roof on. I always worry when people are working by themselves, especially at heights. I guess that's left over from my Navy days and safety, I use to put up 50 ft TV towers after the Navy, and if you forget to belt in, it could be your last.

it does matter on the overlap concerning the wind, it also matters to overlap the "anti-siphone" ridge with the normal ridge..

I just watched a video yesterday of a man and his wife installing 30 foot sheets of metal roofing on their A-frame. They used no equipment except for 40 foot ladder. You should check it out.. North to Alaska is the you tube channel.

Not sure yet. The stain is expensive, so we will see if the budget allows it in the spring.

So sorry about the mishap with the post! Sorry to be that guy, but I said this in an earlier video (that this might happen). You should seriously consider encasing the bases of those posts with concrete all around them up to 3-4 feet above ground.
