Installing injectors on a 88 Toyota Supra.
Injectors are Bosch 550 low impedance with pigtails from Drift motion

Where did you get the pig tails to replace the stock connectors? I have RC PL 500cc low resistance Peak and hold injectors but need part number for wiring clip. Thanks in advance.

the injectors I have are Bosch. The pigtails came with them. I ordered them from drift motion.

would I need to upgrade my fuel pump or run more power to the injectors to do this?

yes you should do your fuel pump first, if you follow my build playlist that's the oder you should do the upgrades.

Running on stock ecu, piggyback, or stand-alone?

Still running the stock ECU, going to be doing the Lexus afm upgrade next. I do plan on going to a standalone ECU.

I want also ride 550 injectors with lex afm! Must i change the fuel presuere or is stock good?

Stock fuel pressure should be fine, if you've upgraded the fuel pump, I'm not sure if the stock pump will keep up with the 550s or not. Just remember to bypass the J tube. I would also recommend a fuel pressure regulator w/ gauge.

I install the injectors and lex afm right now i wanted to buy a fuel regualator i wanted to drive with stock pump! What fuel presure its fine! Sorry for me Bad austrian English

Ok, I think I know what you're asking. I believe most people run them between 36 and 40 psi. Start on the lower end. If you're going to run the stock pump with the lex/550 mod, you should really do this modification with an AFR gauge so you can see if you're running lean or rich. Also, if you speak German and that's easier for you to do, I speak a little bit as I am slowly teaching myself, and between that and Google translate I should be able to figure it out.

They are Bosch low impedance 550's from drift motion

@@5pointgarage Im doing something similar 255 walbro,lexus afm , aeromotive afpr, but I'm thinking on doing the 12 volt mod and j tube delete and going with high impedance injectors but still getting more research on that point

@@miguelchilpa2065 if you go with the walbro you will need to do the 12v mod. I bypassed the J tube when I installed my afpr. Going with the high impedance injectors I believe you have to bypass a resistor, but have also read on people just installing them and having them work just fine. Good luck with the research and build
