SWAP engine is easier than rebuild. But the MCM compliances engine is a headache problem.

You swap mcm and delete the pos emmisions not rocket science

Here is my story, in july 2022 i replaced used 2021 dd15 motor on my 2016 truck, after that iam having vibrating under chassis on lower speeds 50kms and 80 km it’s feels like motor is not breathing properly and my speedometer goes ups and down, its last around 300 to 500 kms after that everything gets to normal, and now in winters here last month was extremely cold -30degrees my truck didn’t consume any Def for one week and im starting having def issues and mechanical said my dpf filters are almost 97 percent clogged (I changed them last year with new one box) and the shop that replaced my motor said they never see situation like this. Please help me out of this nightmare.

hello Francisco . i am swapping dd15 engine . 2019 engine to a 2014 truck. i was watching your videos because i didnt do swap like this. and i swap everything around even compound turbo with idler gear and crankshaft gear i am about to swap injectors . do i need to swap rocker housing also ? are the cam shafts different ? because inj. are . i swap rocker housing and i got ticking noise on gears for intake cam . looks like is to big play.

you dont need to swap the internals of the engine. just swap the external components and that will be fine. GHG14 and GHG17 engines internally are different
