Installing A Brand New 6BT Cummins Cylinder Head For My 80 Series Land Cruiser

Well I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I ran the old head that had cracks in it, so I sprung for a new cylinder head for this build. This head is a later style with the 7mm injector ports so we'll need new injectors. I definitely have piece of mind knowing that everything in the head is new and not warped!#toyota #landcruiser #cummins #turbo #diesel

I love the amount of precision in this build. My buddy and I did a 911 emergency rebuild in the dirt after the engine spun a main. Absolutely zero precision went into it

Thanks! I’m no certified mechanic, just a guy in his garage. Most of the stuff I’m doing is just so all the oil will stay in the engine and nothing will catastrophically fail. I’ve done a few sketchy rebuilds as well, all part of the fun and learning!

I believe you need to do a few rotations and recheck with the feelers. Heard they may loosen and need to be retorqued.
