Definitely gonna get a CBR500R and Coffman exhaust was looking a a ZX4-RR for a while.. but I think I needa go with Honda!

what's the point of the rivet?

to hold the slip-on, onto the exhaust. Most normal slip-ons are held on my a bracket that's attached to the passenger peg. This exhaust is connected freely which doesn't require being held on by the passenger peg, but a rivet instead.
