@@PandPCustoms the main issue I’m having is the rardio not picking up radio stations. If I unplug the provided antenna from the cars factory antenna it works better but as soon as I plug it back in the radio stations quit working.

Does this unit work with durangos that come with the Rear entertainment systems that have blueray DVD players that power the rear tvs screen?

yes our radios do work with retaining rear entertainment system BUT it does not mean you are able to watch YT Netflix and ect.. in the back all it does is recuperate the function nothing more

great question greg! so my tesla style is only made to recuperate the rear entertainment system ONLY THAT. So the same thing you had before would be displayed on the screen BUT people sometimes think that now with the tesla style they can watch netflix and yt on the headrest and that is not the case 😓😓

I cannot speak for another company but as for my radios you do not have to connect the two females that were connected to the original display, one of those is your factory gps for navigation, which you wont need anymore since I provide you an even better one, the other is subjective to the vehicle and its package

So I've been researching radio upgrades for my 2016 durango sxt. So mine is the last year it didn't come with android auto/carplay. it has a USB and the SD card under the radio instead of the 2 USB. If I get one of these radios will I have android auto/carplay? Thanks¡

@djclean26 great question, yes you will have wireless and wired carplay and android auto. The USB at the bottom is recuperated but the sim card is replaced with another external sim input bro 🫡

@abramj3505 you do not lose the rear entertainment with my radio. You recuperate it and save it but it doesn't add features or work differently, great question I'm always glad to answer concerns

22:17, I dont have a durango but why when you turned on the vehicle did the buttons light up RGB, is that a setting or flaw?

not to worry that is no flaw, since the vehicle light switch was on "Auto" when i turned on the vehicle the illuminated switches turned on, they are preset on RGB but you can have them stationary at one color messing with the settings 😅👍

I don’t know if the limitation of video playback while the vehicle is in motion is a feature of these types of screens, but I assume some may allow it and others may not, But, since no one has responded to your question, I’ll provide you some information about how I used to bypass the lockout on a stock Uconnect system, just in case the feature is not available with the new screen, since the same method would be expected to work with any screen. I used a jailbroken iPhone and a tweak called Carbridge. I believe it is updated to function with iOS 17 and below, as well as for Android and can be sideloaded without jailbreaking. There are videos about it on KZbin. If it is indeed still able to be installed as indicated, It would allow you to use the stock Uconnect system to run any app using your car touchscreen as if it was your phone, without any restrictions on which app or what functions. It might be something you want to look into.

Great question, as of loudness nothing will change but in terms of quality it will sound better do to the radio having an integrated crossover and an EQ!!! The website is under creation right now but we are doing sales thru email, text, call and dms and we provide receipts and tracking numbers!!

Yes, just installed and everything has been retained including head rest drop etc

@@josha8382 Thanks for responding. But, my question is not whether the settings are retained. I'm asking if this radio provides access to all the menu items the standard uConnect provides. For example, could I enable/disable automatic headlight dimming or change the setting for how strongly the lane-keep shoves the steering wheel? Can I enable/disable automatic doorlock entry? Those are all settings I can access with the regular uConnect. Would I still be able to adjust these settings with this Tesla radio interface?

@@TheCondoInRedondo my apologies misread the question, you do also get those settings on the Tesla style radio, it has multiple setting apps with in the radio for the different types of settings. It is a very great radio and no settings are missed or lost
