PERFECT!! Just ordered the same capacitor. I looked at all those dang wires last week and thought I'll never get the unit to work again if I take them off. Thank for this video I was scared to attempt this and I coincided myself very capable but don’t like the I known . I bought the dometic hard start kit bolted right in , slightly different set up but colour of wires were the same son I was able to do the job properly . Much appreciated !

I could not run Ac with cheap 3000 watt inverter generator So biught 5000 not knowing I only needed a 75$ part Now I can use 2-2000 cheap princess auto generators connected and runs Ac Did not work prior to hard start kit

I put a suppco capacitor on m y doetic and it did reduce the load needed to start the A/C however it will only run for about 45 minutes before it overloads my 4200/3500 watt inverter generator. Any idea what the problem is? all the other breakers are turned off and i tested the generator I don't think its the problem.

I have a domestic penguin 2 in my trailer and wife while cleaning inside turned on ac in summer, is only a 15 Amp circuit, popped the breaker. We reset breaker and next day went camping. Found out when we got there the ac didn't blow cold anymore. Would this solve the issue if it was due to too low Amps or do I need the silver looking part this plugs into. Any help is appreciated.
