I love the fact that she's not afraid to get her hands dirty, so to speak. If and when you purchase this particular unit, do they supply the buyer with instructions on which wiring harness goes where? As you didn't show each step for us old folks.. 5:55 🤣🤣🤣 Yep, throw that out of the window!!

Just received mine and it’s already different, I don’t have a mic connection off the main plug or even the white plug that goes into the 2nd plug next to the sim, mic plug. Which yellow video plug did you use for the backup camera.

Got mine installed but fader doesnt work for rear speakers and oem reverse camera doesn't work. Looks like i connected the canbus and camera the same as yours?

i think if you buy it straight from Idoing, it’s a little bit different connections on the back then buying it from like a Subaru only style website that’s what I’ve noticed. This is the only video that I’ve seen that has connections like mine on the back of the radio it help with the install

How did you get the Eurasian version? I’m currently battling Idoing to ship me the thin black one with the HDMI port and they say it’s not for America. Do you know which model number it is? Thanks!

Any idea if this works with a 2015 WRX? The old unit has an option for 2015, this one says 2016-2021

Just heard from them and they did away with using the car mic and went back to their mic, they said it was to low and fish bowl. Is this true for you.

I definitely did! It worked perfectly fine for my Nissan Altima when I started android radio but my 17 WRX… they’re expecting me to replace the camera! Rewire and all SMH.

How does it sound? Looks like it doesn’t push much power to speakers. I could be wrong lol. I just canceled one order I had because it was the other model and ordered this one. Hope it’s worth it!
