@assemblyrequired How’d your install/charger combo work out?

Hey @SunDeveledEgger, it worked out great!......for a while. Fencer was great, the remote feature was awesome and we were holding 7-8k volts even when the vegetation was up on the fence. Unfortunately a few months ago something killed the fence charger, I'm assuming lightning. I came out and the GFCI breaker that it was plugged in to was popped, tried resetting and it immediately tripped again. Plugged the fencer into a standard outlet and it was dead. The fencer does have a 3 year warranty so I need to get it sent in to be looked at and I'm sure they will take care of it. Possibility that not being able to get all of the grounds in for the lightning arrester came back to bit me. For now I have a gallagher 16 joule that is doing ok, but you can tell that its not as powerful. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Did that wood ever dry?

To be honest, I'm not sure. Its still in their and I plan on doing a video about it soon. I will say, I'm disappointed in how well I've kept that project documented. Thanks for the comment!

I’ll be dam if I would depend on that remote to shut down the charger 😢 someone at the house hits the garage door opener and it may light your but up . I’m 62 I don’t trust any of this new crap lol

I wouldn't have another charger without it. The remote stays in the mule so I can drive around to check fence and listen for it popping. Shut the fence off with the remote without having to go back to the barn, fix it, turn it back on and move on. HUGE time and headache saver! Besides, even if it doesn't work, what's going to happen? I get shocked, yeah I'll get mad for a couple minutes but that's it. My father-in-law was actually who told me about them, and he's 61! Thanks for watching and for the comment!!
