Installing a motorcycle backrest

I have a Harley fat bob that I’m desperately trying to make more comfortable, it’ll cost over $500 for a mustang seat with a backrest so I’m thinking of tearing into my old stock seat to install something for back support... thanks for sharing your vid it’s given me hope!

Oh sorry I didn't cover that, good question. I have no idea actually as I bought it as scrap from a salvage bike :( I suppose any ole adjustable model would work as long as it has a flat mounting plate I'd recommend starting cheap like with one of the 60 dollar amazon ones. I've seen super expensive ones on revzilla (like 700 dollars). This one came off of a triumph thunderbird but I'm not seeing it on any shop sites. Just make sure what you pick is A) adjustable and B) has the flat plate to mount.
