INSTALLING A THREE BLADE FLEXOFOLD PROPELLER.

I remember the very first propeller I changed out in the water when I was 13 years old. When I slid it off the shaft I soon realized i didn’t have enough buoyancy to counteract the heavy bronze prop. Needless to say it took me to the bottom. Lol 😂. Tied a rope to it and brought it up that way. 👍

Is it possible to grease the splines on the shaft underwater? Or was there enough grease left over from the previous prop?
