Nice work! I'd get some 2" heat shrink & coat those straps you don't have metal to metal contact with the straps, even if they are painted

Ah heat shrink is a good idea! I did buy some thin rubber for the straps that I'll use tho, just need a good way to adhere it

That is really cool brotha. I totally dig it. I appreciate the information. Because i want to do the same thing. I want to relocate a tank into the trunk. Similar to a. Sixties mustang. Im Toyen around with the idea right now. But hang on to Your Car. Thats Hot Man. I love it

have you seen any drawbacks to having the fill neck go horizontal? also how is this vented?

Good questions. It's still not fully assembled because of undercoating and fabing the engine mounts. The pump plate has a vent that I'll run a hose to a high point. I don't forsee too many issues with the fill neck but TBD. I think tanks inc sells a good amount of these

@@windows_down_ Thanks for the reply! Id assume the neck is galvanized as well so that's not as big a deal for a while. I wish it was just straight aluminum for that reason. Also how about grounding the tank? I've read that that's a must but you also cant just go metal on metal. Id love to hear your thoughts

I've it should be grounded as well. I think the way that the pump is wired will automatically ground the tank, but I'll confirm before running it. Tanks inc just says to ground the tank to the chassis
