@SlippingTime I'm in the process of buttoning up a 92 GSX down here in Ohio. I had to swap the engine and trans out. Engine is a 6 bolt with 7 bolt pistons, and it looks like someone made the gap too small on one of the rings on cylinder 2, and it scored the wall. Compression is still 180psi. However, oil is getting through and wetting the plug. Trans has seen some better days, and the bottom of the bell housing where the lower middle (long) t-case bolt threads into is broke clean off the trans.. I have no idea how people pull this stuff off.. So with the new engine/trans, she drove down the road today. Runs and shifts ok. Need to finish putting the front end back together and working on tuning a little bit more, but it's coming along nicely. Such a labor of love, I wish I could say this was my first.. 🤣

this is just the vid I needed,my tuner also recommended aem x wideband.my car is a 90 tsi and I have the old crappy aem one and they got rid of stock 02 and using 02 sim and its making it run super lean idle close loop ,putting back stock 02 and logging with this wideband.

would you happen to know if egr temp sensor pin (15)is same on 90?i know 90 has some differences.thanks.@@SlippingTime

@@markroberts9225 Yes, pin 15 is the same. Pins 7 and 14 are swapped on 90 compared to 91-94’s.

Did you have the classic aem wideband gauge with the white cover? I’m installing mine on my 95’ GST and I’m trying to connect the white wire to Pin 76 on the ecu, which is the second white wire from the left. This gauge harness does not have the brown ground. But upon connecting it all up, it runs very lean and shows 18.9 while my AFRatioEst shows 12.5-13.5 (yea i know its idling rich but not sure what to do.) Let me know if this was ur issue too and how u did an exchange with aem

If that O2 sensor voltage (blue line) is just a flat 0.2v while the car is on, what does that indicate where the issue is?

Isn’t the white wire the analog voltage on an AEM?

@@SlippingTime I’m not sure. But i connected it to pin 76 on the ecu (95 2g) and its just a flat line and aem wb reads 19.1

Is it possible if i use only AEM 30-0300 and the ECM to logging ? Nothing involve with the car.
