It's one of those spinny things you see on top of commercial vans.
We know all about living in a small space and dealing with condensation and mould growth, last winter we got a big wake up call as we had mould everywhere in our house.
Ventilation is key to preventing humidity build up and ultimately mould growth. In the van we needed to decide upon a way to have adequate ventilation and we ended up going for a wind powered air ventilator!
We discussed roof lights and extractor fans but they're quite big and bulky and take up a lot of the space on the roof. We have a roof rack also and it would kind of get in the way so figured this could be a good solution.
It was quite straight forward to install to be honest and because the hole is quite small if it doesn't work out we can always cut it out and install a bigger vent. Hopefully though, coupled with just being conscious of humidity and opening windows and doors it should work out great!
