New pipe, new jet.. You need to jet your scooter because you have now a different amount of air exit
@user-zt2cc7qq9b3 жыл бұрын
That's what I was thinking.
@therealboofighter3 жыл бұрын
The jet is the small port or orifice that the fuel flows through into the carburetor. The larger the jet the bigger the hole. That means more fuel. They are all very small and going up one size is hard to tell by the naked eye. You have to rely on the numbers stamped on them.

The yasuni Z for your information is a replacement for the original exhaust, with which the performance is somewhat or not at all improved as the inside is limited with a partition wall. In other words, it's just an appearance, but it doesn't give any performance. The best for a factory 50cc bike is the voca sabotage or yasuni r/carrera 10.

You need to rejet the carburetor and usually install new roller weights in the variator any time you add a pipe with a chamber like the Yashuni. The bike may feel weird or sluggish without new roller weights, (usually lower gram weight) So, in the Zuma its probably somewhere around 6 or 6.5 roller weights for a tuned pipe. Also if you don't reject the carb, you could run the bike lean and burn the piston. Also, also, the Yashuni pipe actually has another restriction inside the silencer. You need to cut or grind the weld on that to drop that one out as well.

Is this the Yasuni R or Z model? I ask because I put a Yasuni R on my stock 2005 Zuma 50 and the thing won't go over 10mph now, just bogs down like it is fouling the plugs. I have the stock rollers in mine, going to try 5 gram rollers and see if that helps.

@@therealboofighter Each of those big round rings on the exhaust gets two bushings with a metal sleeve. Bushings are tapered, so one fits on the inside and another one on the outside, tapers facing toward each other. Steel sleeve through both with the bolt through the middle. Hard to explain writing it out. Basically bolt, washer, bushing, bushing, nut is how it goes through on each ring of the exhaust. Just thought I would let you know if you ever need to do it again.
