Did you wire the main control box to the red (live) wire and brown (earth) wire? Whats the difference from wiring on red wire than grey wire? Does wiring to red wire turn on the strips even when headlights are not on?

I have the same problem. If i put the plus cable from the kit on the grey cable, nothing light up and the button is also dark. If i disconnect the kit, the button light is working again normally.
