Installing AMD AM4 Socket Corsair Liquid Cooler

I had followed these steps prior to even watching this vid. I was losing my mind thinking I had the wrong bracket. When you install the pins there’s still some play left in the stock back bracket. However when you install the threaded nut it tightened and there is no more play after that

Just keep tightening the screws. The play will vanish and it’ll be nice and tight. No more movement

I want to thank you for this video and showing me how to properly install with my am4 motherboard, without this video i would of never known the right way and thought something was broken or malfunctioned. It's almost hard to believe such a company big as corsair and not provide any manual or any link with the new cooler model, you saved me from a mental breakdown so thank you seriously.

You can install it two ways, like this or literally directly to the mountings on ur motherboard

Something important they don't tell you about the bracket is the screws are threaded differently on each side. The fatter threads go into the mobo and the rest should go in easily. Edit: I'm on my second mobo now

I had to figure it out on my own, the thinner ones go up, the fatter on the Mobo , no manual is a total disgrace

This video saved me , i've installed plenty of watercooling, msi, nzxt, cooler master, and i've never add one with a loose motherboard backplate like that... thought my Motherboard was not compatible... nice one corsair 😑

I got the iCUE Elite Capellix and it has the wrong AM4 brackets. Ridiculous, Anyhow I too got the same bracket as you, so thank you for the very detailed explanation. Your review is among the best & you explain it perfectly, THANK YOU

Yeah, there are 2 mounting brackets/options for AMD boards. 1) use the one for clipping onto the plastic retainers or 2) use the one that is more secure, that installs as you showed here.

Only thing is your pipes need to go to be below the height of the processor so the liquid circulates better.

I’ve been told after buy this product that it is horrible and tends to not work even days after buying it which happens to me I got a faulty product but luckily I should be able to return it I hope you all enjoy your new cpu coolers and I hope the H60x cooler doesn’t fail you like it did me

I had an h100 originally that had the bracket and the hook screws... Fast forward 5 years later, I'm upgrading to h150 No idea needed to remove the extra brackets from the h100. I swear, if it was a universal setup across all models should be it would be a good idea 😑 Thanks for the video
