Do you have any issues with the cord getting bent when you seal the hatch? I’m trying to figure out how to get the cords neatly installed in my fusion 480

Sorry for the really late response. The only time I strap the fish hatch down is when I’m paddling out through the surf after the launch or paddling back to the beach when I’m done fishing. When I’m paddling out or in through the surf zone, my fish finder is always inside the fish hatch. After I’m outside the surf zone, I remove the straps holding the fish hatch closed, open the hatch, remove the fish finder, and then secure the fish finder to Railblaza mount on top of the fish hatch. I do not use the fish hatch straps ever while fishing, because if you strap the lid down tightly with fish finder wires “will” eventually get damaged.
