If your USB drive is not detected, then you need to check these points.. 1. Make sure that the USB drive is formatted as FAT32. 2. Use a partition manager and check if ur USB drive is not GPT, it must be MBR and check its partition type ID, it should be 0xC, afaik 0xB wont work. 3. Not all USB 3.0 drive supported by the Wii, try using a USB 2.0 drive as a comparison. 4. Make sure you plug the USB drive to the port near the edge of the console.

Thank you thank you thank you thank you. Can't say thank you enough. Oh and just something you forgot to mention which I think is important. Remember to remove the SD card once you've installed the USB loader or the Wii will read the SD card first and not the USB. I redid these steps like 5 times before I realized the reason it wasn't working, why I wasn't seeing the games is because the SD card was still in the slot. Remove it. Anyways thanks again man. you're awesomeness.

The application wont launch if you dont have a usb in the wii, so it might be that. If that is not the case then try copying the apps folder in to the usb drive and then try it.

Hey bro, I figured it out. Make sure you have copied the folder “COPY TO USB” from modmii to your usb before you put it in your wii. I missed that step because I think he forgot to mention it in the last video.

Hi, I have used both of your tutorials for softmodding and playing usb games on my WI. However i got stuck with a problem. The first problem was i could not load any games on my 16 GB usb Drives (tried 2). They got stuck (close or at 100%), and i ended up with a temporary file on my usb drive. However i managed to avoid this by using my 32 gb sandisk usb drive. Now i've installed games i end up with a black screen trying to load the games in the USB loader GX. All Wii games i load in this app end up with a black screen, even the ones on a disc when i run them in the usb loader. Can anyone help me out here?

Fixed this, my 32GB usb drive is a usb 3.0, which got me the black screen. So i copied the files from the 3.0 usb drive to one of my 16gb drives (2.0) and this works. However i did not manage to get other iso files or wbfs to my usb drive..... Got advices on that?

I fixed this! I’m not sure if this always works with every game but here is how I fixed it: A game is region restricted meaning it is PAL or NTSC. Idk all regions but I do know that they use PAL in Europe and NTFC in America. If you have a NTSC game, you should go to the settings of the game in USBLOADERGX and change it to Force NTSC (or maybe experiment a little bit with the options). Another problem is, that if let’s say you put the game on Dutch language (also in the Game settings via USBLOADERGX) but the game is NTSC, it wouldn’t have that language, which could result in the black screen. My advice is to put the language on english first, to see if the game is working then. I hope I helped you out if you have the same problem as I did!

Hi, apparently my wii is already soft moded (it shows homebrew channel and usbloadergx on the menu and i'm using it to play games from the hdd) maybe for a long time ago but im not quite sure when. I never updated my game collection, i really tempted to but im afraid that it would risk an error 003 like what many people from the forum said when you connecting the softmoded wii to the wifi. I have several questions: 1. Is it true if i connect the softmoded wii to the internet will causing any error? 2. Can i still be able to update my games collection? u must use wii backup manager to add games to ur hdd, and if u don't have any problems with ur wii then do not update ur console.

And occasionally it takes me back to the Homebrew channel or Wii Home Screen when opening wii games. When I open GameCube games it says error could not read the disk. The GameCube games work fine when loading them through nintendont. Just not working through USBLoader. I have named the games as game.iso and also in the correct folder for USB lOADER. @@vyperii Yes I found a solution. Naming the folder and game file helped! For example name the folder 'Need For Speed Nitro [R7XP69]' and name the wbfs file to the game ID like 'R7XP69.wbfs'. Hope this helps

None of my Wii games show up only game cube games, I've already clicked show Wii games and it still doesn't work what am I doing wrong? Also all my Wii games do work with wiiflow but they won't show up in usbloader gx

Hello, I have a problem and just can't get any further .. I installed everything, set the usb stick perfectly and installed the game via Backup Manager. USB Loader gx finds the USB stick and also shows me the game. As soon as I press start I have a black screen and the wii freezed itself. The remote also turns off and I have to restart the wii. Please help

Me too! After I open the games in USB loader, when I click start, it become all black and return to the Wii menu

yeah im getting the "1 did not complete" issue. extracted missing files and put them in sd and everything.
