Awww.... Too bad about the crew cab. I for one really like square body chevys and the old heavy duty Long box duels with crew cabs are awesome looking... Whats not to like about truck that is nearly 20 feet long? Besides parallel parking of course... But honestly those trucks came out the factory looking sweet. I was kinda hopping if you did get it you turn it into 5th wheel tow rig for picking up new projects from down south. Oh well though.. it sounded like that truck had alot of problems that needed to be repaired. Oh well Hawns going to be a hot rod soon! Your just going to have to drown your tears in pillars of tire smoke and horse power.... What else can you ask for? Keep up the good work, it's awesome!

Hey Bud ,. Question. , When you stalled that. Killer sounding exhaust , does the higher flow rate. Trick the exhaust senser into thinking ITS. Running leaner ? Because when the flow is faster it reads as leaner , would the EMC. Make it run richer ,. I don't know

The stock computer can compensate for a lot. So just adding headers and an exhaust isn't gonna mess with it much. It might take a few miles for it to learn, but I've never had one need tuning from an exhaust alone, unless it was like going to open headers lol

That's James Brown. It's a 1984 GLS car(4 wheel discs) that I'm eventually going to turn into a street car. Right now it has a 5.3/4l80e mocked up in it, but I thik we're set on using the 5.3 in the black truck and I'll probably put a 350/700r4 back in the RX-7. That's what it did have but the trans started acting funny so I pulled it. I have a few videos with it that nobody watched haha Oh, btw, I would like to mess with rotaries someday

SniderTron 3000 dang man I'd love to see some videos on that thing! Thats one of my dream projects is a small block swapped rx7 drift car. And personally ( unlike common opinion ) I think the FB body style is better than the FD bodystyle. There isnt many youtubers making vids on the FBs also so maybe you can be a pioneer and make some content that no one has seen before.. Just saying you could get more views possibly bc it hits both sides of the car world, american muscle v8 with light fun japanese sports coupe.. Either way Id love to see some content on this thing

I think I have like 10 or so videos with it where I put in a 350 from a boat in it and got it running and cruised it a little before tearing it back down. It's probably my favorite vehicle I own so when I do get around to doing it I want to do it mostly right and not hack it together like I am with Goldie Hawn and the black truck lol

No idea, my truck still has a 4l60e. But, a lot of people have done a TH400 swap. I would think you'd just need a crossmember, driveshaft, something for the shift linkage, and a converter/flexplate adapter.

A by pass valve is important, very very important, as the S/C. Will still make boost even @idel, and your blades will overheat, a simple VW recerc valve is like 15$ on Amazon.

Vortech states that if you're making less than 7 pounds, you do not need one. And, yes, I know that even at idle they are making boost.

My injectors has 4 pin holes mostly because my truck is a flex fuel i can run e85 and some say flex fuel Injectors are longer and are better they can handle higher boost then the non flex fuel injectors i don't know if it's true but anyways good video!!

Honestly, I know it's WAY more money than it would ever be worth. But, I would love to swap the body of my 85 Dodge W150 onto a 2wd frame and make a little hot rod out of that. It has the perfect look, but the frame/suspension/fuel lines/brake lines are all just so rusty. But the body isn't too far gone to not save.

Haha, I was out datalogging the other day and I did blow the piping off, but not at that connection. It blew off the supercharger snout. I'm assuming because of the 180 bend it goes into.

@@SniderTron3000 thats a possibility i know if you dont have the couplers on just right it will still blow them off with the bead rolls it just helps it stay on a bit better try to make sure at the connections the clamps are right behind the beads. I think the u bend will be fine just have fine tune the piping and its common when you first put a boosted car together to blow them off
