I just painted my factory ones the look the same and it was only like 15$ of paint and a bit of time. You can get smoked fog lights as well.

Yes you can swap all the lights, ballast and leveling motors over to the new headlight

@@camsprouse317 Thank you! just disassembled everything yesterday for my son and we changed out the bulb and then figured since the new bulb didn't work that it is likely the ballast.

Chrome will be more visible especially in day time (sun reflection) so others can actually see you (especially drunkards and drug addicts). Also remember that black absorbs sun rays which makes them hotter for sure. All that said depends on your taste and trim as well. Persoanlly will go with chrome it just has a cleaner look and brighter for safety. Your choice.

What does swapping the ballast do? I keep seeing people do that in these headlight videos. What does it mean? Why do you have to do it?

Ballast always tend to go bad and have to replace, a lot of people switch to led for brighter clearer light and you get get rid of ballast because it’s no longer needed

Those are not Denso headlights, they don't make a black housing set. They make a dark chrome version but those are just ebay specials. Looks fine, but not fooling anyone
