In this video I will be installing BMR subframe connectors on my third gen Camaro. I will have to remov the lower control arms, test fit and grind down the paint. then I will weld in the subframe connectors. clean up the welds and apply some paint. Finally I will reinstall the lower control arms and add the BMR sticker.

Good tip to do when doing any welding on a vehicle is to disconnect the battery. You have a good chance in frying the ecm with the battery hooked up.

Ordered some Spohn Sub frame connectors that should be here tomorrow. Going to spend some time this weekend getting them welded in to my Z28. Hopefully the weather isn't as terrible as it looks like it's going to be.

Hopefully the rain holds off. I could tell a difference even just jacking it up and down. I can't remember to get my car finished. I've done so much to it. Let me know how it goes for you.

@@ForsakenSteel so far it has SUCKED. I have 2 layers of 6x6 to get the car up but it's still been very slow going. The Spohn connectors just require so much more welding than the other styles (BMR/UMI) so it's been a real PITA. Just got the driver side done so far and getting ready to call it a night. I'm beat. I should have asked to borrow your cribbing. Lol

I'm sorry to hear it's been such a hassle. If you end up needing these cribs just let me know. We can meet in Maryville somewhere.

Great video. IMO you should paint all those frame components black like the rest of the frame. One consistent look. Look forward to seeing more on the Camaro. Be safe and stay well.

This is one of my next items to complete. I have the connectors however, I have to finish my exhaust first, and there will be some adjustments with that because of how i have run my exhaust, via the OEM route. the passengers side gets in the way of the connectors, so I am going to have to get creative. Either Friday or Tuesday for me. Thanks.

I haven't driven it since I installed them. I should be taking it back out in a few days. I'll be sure to include that in the next video. I did nothing that when I took the car off the stands it didn't flex as much as when I put it in on the stands.
