We just enjoyed watching the little birds get their boxes. We're eagerly awaiting the first eggs, As we do every year. Lucca* Says Hi too! Will you have Easter chicks, perhaps? 😊🙂

Thank you. It's possible eggs might hatch near Easter, but so far there are none. Mating has to happen first. ;-) I'm betting on Ruby Rubino being the earliest since she is spending the most time in her nest box. ;-)

Hi there! I don’t know if you mention it at some point, but what are the dimensions of the cages in the video?

These are 30 inches long, 18 inches wide and 18 inches deep. This size allows one pair enough room to fly. Bourkes need to fly. They aren't climbers like many other parakeet varieties. This is the minimum I'd use for them, bigger is always better. We have a cage for our babies that is twice as tall.

@@LuanWessels I'm not familiar with those colorations. My specialty is Bourke's and some about Splendids. Don't know a lot about Turqs except that they are similar to Splendids and can interbreed with them.
