Installing Can Am " Signature Lights " in a 2020-2023 Maverick Trail.

We are installing Can Am Signature Lights in Jr's 2021 Maverick Trail. Once you remove the front end of the machine, installing the lights is really pretty easy. This is the first time I've ever done it, so come along and figure it out with us as we go.

Bummer that they don’t come on with the key just ordered some for Christmas! Along with some aftermarket headlights got some work ahead me front end doesn’t look bad at all i great appreciate the video!!! Enjoyed it brother!!

Interesting how they only turn on with the light switch. My 2020 sport turns the signature lights on with the key. I wonder if it’s just how the connector is pinned. Great work! Machine is looking great

I skimmed through video are the signature lights the same as x3?

Could you tell me where you got the mtn. bike carrier that I saw on your machine? I have a #70 e-bike and wonder if the Maverick Trail hitch is strong enough to carry the weight of the hitch and the bike.

I bought it from etrailer. It's a Swagman rack, but I don't remember what model it is, just that it's rated for RV use. I've never used it to transport the bikes up into the hills with my MT. Don't know if it would hold up or not. I bought it to put on the back of the RV or truck or car. I just found it is easy to transport everything at once by putting it on the MT on the trailer. Being RV rated it is sturdier than others, but I'm not sure how well it would hold up with an E bike bouncing around on the back of a trail machine

Where do you get the center bag you mentioned. How do you keep your air filter clean. Do you put a piece of foam on the outside

Nice! A few weeks back I picked up a 2021 trail 1000 and it would be great to have those lights. I do have a question you put mud flaps on your 2018 have you put them on your boys 2021 and did you use the same kind/brand?

I'm headed for the auto parts store today! we are new to side by sides have always ridden ATVs and I tried to get a new Can Am but here is south east Idaho they are not available until maybe late July or Aug. So I found this 2021 used with 1000 miles and in really good condition, so now its ours. I really like your Ryfab rack and because we need to have a place for the dog, I started looking at it and the RBO (made in Mountain Home). The RBO is better enclosed but is also $200 to $300 more. The problem right now is that both Ryfab and RBO are so far behind that they both told me that it would be 6 to 8 week or more before they can even start to ship any new orders. So I guess we just have to wait and this does put a crimp in our plans for the summer (dog does do well at home alone at all). Thanks for the great videos and I look forward to your next one.

Did you ever figure out why they only come on with the headlights? I have seen them both ways in stock form. '21 xmr the headlights need to be on.

Something must be wired differently in the machine itself. I could probably change some wiring around to make them come on with the key, but with the machine still under warranty I don't really want to start messing with the wiring, so it is what it is for now I guess. On my 2018 they come on with the key. Maybe they changed something around between 2018 and 2021.

I’ve got a question in your Idaho northwest trip there was someone in an all yellow maverick that has a combined roof rack and cargo rack all in one who makes that

It was custom made. I don't know the name of the fab shop that made it for him, but they've only made that one.

I just got my 2022 Maverick sport xxc 1000r and I to am disappointed that you can't just have the accent lights on without the headlights on. It should be taillights and accent lights on with the key and then the headlights on with the toggle switch. I'm looking at putting led low beams in and I'm not sure what is the best option for simple unplug the OEM and plug in the led's. Any suggestions? And I'm in 🇨🇦 if that matters. Beamtech 11 seem to be the one's I'm leaning towards. 🍻

That's what I used is Beamtech. They're pretty decent for the money. Mine have been in for over two years now and still seem ok. H11 bulb is plug and play. Congratulations on the new machine !

I'm getting ready to install the winch, on my 2020 Trail, debating on doing the Signature Lights while I have the front apart. Where did you get them? About how much were they?

We just bought them from the dealer. I can't remember exactly how much, but around $200-300. Kind of spendy. Much easier to do it while the front end is off. 👍

@@MyATVlife I ended up buying an aftermarket Signature light set for $130. I purchased my 2020 MT used for 1 year, and they had put a street legal kit on it. With the after market Signature lights, I was able to tie them into the blinker, So when I use it, the Signature light will blink Orange, on the side that i'm turning.
