Installing composite decking fascia can be tricky especially if your deck is not square. Angles increase the challenges but here I show how to install Timbertech fascia around an angled corner of the deck.
With a few tips and tricks on making it easier.

Very clean. Nicely done. I prefer not to have the core showing. If this is your go to technique then if I may humbly suggest using a color match solid deck stain for a superior finished look. We are currently using deck board corners with a rabbited back. That allows you to slide the fascia into place and hides the joint. In cold or heat the rabbit will hide the joint.

Are those capped boards where you'll see the uncapped base material on the exposed edge or is it the same material throughout?

Do you find it easier to install fascia first or the picture frame? I would recommend making a simple jig to drill your holes at 2" from top to bottom edge.

What screws are you using on the fascia? Are they the same size as the cortex hidden fastener screws for the square edge decking boards? Wondering if the heads need to be bigger to support the fascia

How do you go about planning for corner 45s on the outside edges when doing a picture frame style. I am reading a lot of the guys hating the 45 shortly after install due to the composite seperating.

I’d rather have a mitre cut to perfection. I understand expansion and contraction but Ive had success with flashing in behind every mitre with black self adhering flashing tape and glueing the back of the board to the deck rim joist with PL to help stop expansion and contraction and using g cortex screws but to each their own

Buy a track saw if you do many composite decks. His wood guide can cause an expensive mistake.

I’d say buy one if you’re doing even one composite deck.
