Gret info, Ziply is bringing fiber to my area in Oregon- how well do those work in extreme rocks and roots? I have 2 paths to choose from, My driveway that has 8" base rock and my ATV trail that winds threw the woods

What size of conduit is recommended for a buried installation and will provide for an easy pull? I’m installing two buried conduits. Both will be from a common pull box half way in between. One will be to my house and the other to my shop. The buried run to my shop is about 75 feet long and the run to my house is about 90 feet long. Thanks for your help/advice.

Depending on the size fiber you are running. I would say 3/4” in your best bet

Why didn't you just direct bury the fiber on both projects?

We ALWAYS install underground utility infrastructure in conduit. It helps to ensure we have a reliable system into the future. We spend a lot of effort and resources each year replacing electric cables that were once buried directly in the ground. It was cheaper and easier to install it that way in the past, but we're all paying for it now. Our goal is to learn from past mistakes to ensure a better future for our community.
