A BOV isn’t meant for the noise but rather the over boosting coming into contact with the throttle blade & doesn’t have to have it venting to atmosphere but rather back into the air box or somewhere. Not to mention it helps keep them couplers on!!

I dunno why I'm so invested in this channel. I don't own a cool car, I can't weld, body work scares me and I know I'll never have a hoist, but I'm full tilt on this channel and can't wait to see the Desperado! Does buddy even sleep? Every day there's more content!

Sometimes it’s more enjoyable to watch a project being built than to do it yourself! I know that feeling I don’t actually put a hell of a lot of time into it lately, over the last year or so I go to work an hour early to pick at it, and then a few times a week I’ll stay in for lunch and work on it also. I have a wife, two daughters new baby boy at home so I spend the evenings and weekends with them 🙂

The zu-zu-zu sound you refer too is generally bad for turbos. BOVs exist to properly vent air and if you don't like the psssh sound from it then vent it back into the exhaust and sound is gone for the most part... this pretty common to do to keep vehicles quieter. Also look at the plier hack for bead rolling pipes.

One other thing I wanna continue to mention, if a’guy was to “invest” in his future career possibilities & his hobbies, he would start taking seriously the chance to get a ac/dc tig welder for that aluminum pipe & get rid of them couplers!!!

Since I bought my welder I love nothing more than seeing people having to deal with silicone couplers & them blowing off!! 🤣🤣🤣

How do you connect it to the throttle body?
@KarKampАй бұрын
That bov was on aluminum & if you don’t sand it enough it will flake off!! At least a’guy can look at all that stainless steel & imagine what it could look like if it had some awesome welds holding everything together!! Just saying 😎

Haha yeah I really need a tig welder but the gas isn’t real cheap, and I just don’t have a lot of extra money to throw at it. One day!

I don’t mean to be a Debbie downer but isn’t the reason for using aluminum on intercooler tubing is to keep down on the heat transfer and to help dissipate any excess heat before hitting the intake!! Again just saying 😎

I’m not too worried about a couple degree difference, I’m not looking to squeeze out every bit of power out of it or anything.
