The solution for me, when I fixed it was to unzip the part 2 file into the ETW file. I’ve been replying to comments to people who are having this problem, and I think it would help a lot if you added the solution to the pinned comment.

I don't know if either of you ever fixed this, but you have to put the part 2 file on your desktop, browse for the location on the pop up, and go to desktop, and look for the file there, and select that.

@@koreancowboy42 basically, put the part 2 file onto your background desktop where your icons go. When you look for it in the file browser of the application, you should see a desktop tab. And it should be in there. That's how I did it.

When I press start it says Windows cannot find 'c/ Program files (x86)/Steam/Steamapps/common/Empire Total War/Data/DME/Packs/aum_on'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. Could ya help?

Just unzip it onto your desktop and when the 2nd disk thing pops up find it and click it.

@@j.m.salazar9964 Guys, when you get the pop up while installing part 1, find your part 2; Rename it (Part 2) to: DarthMod_Empire_v8.0_Platinum (1).2 and now when you click on it, it will continue the installation.

Theres a reason why you shouldnt skip steps. I got halfway through installation then it wants me to "insert disk 2" trying and its not working

pt 1 uses the files in pt 2 to install, so keeping them in the same file is the best way to install this mod.

I have a couple problems #1 When I install the files, they come as a zip file and not a RAR file. #2 When I try to install Darth mod in the program, it tells me that I need to insert disks 2 and 3.

download winRAR and go to the zip file right click and pres "open with" click on winRAR and make sure the "use always" us checked, good luck!

Shitty mod if you ask me. If it has issues like this. I have winRAR. I done everything right and it stills asks for disk 2. Files needs to be fixed so people like me don't have to spend 6 hours a day to look back instructions and guides to figure out why it's having these issues. Even if we figure it out and it still ends up still needing disk 2. I blame the modder

This mod used to work flawlessly for me. Followed your instructions but it crashes on startup 100% of the time. Such a shame, loved playing this mod a few years ago. EDIT: for anyone else having this issue. For some reason, launching it through the darthmod launcher doesnt work, but the shortcut on my desktop does work. I completed all steps Expect One thing. I saved my game in Steam --> Steamapps --> common. So I got a pop-up "Windows cannot find c:\ program files(x86)\ steams\ steamapps\common\Empire.exe Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again" But in your video you already got Empire Total war folder with data, uninstall folders and files without installing the game. How it's possible? And what should I do ??

I assume you have tried this, but there's a chance you didn't. Try opening common and then saving the game on Empire.

Been I while since I played , but if you've already turned up the difficulty , Then It might be time to switch mods .. In general I find mods play havoc with difficulty levels . you might try looking for submods that could sort your issues , But I don't know if any exist ..

Great question , I've Never tried as i tend to go the clean install route for running mods. However in theory if you have 2 mods with their own launchers + options to relaunch game in vanilla then you should be fine. hope that's helpful.

for some bloody reason i just cannot get it to work, i install everything exactly as you did, yet when i start it up, the game shows me the darthmod logo thingy, and then the game shuts down after 1-2 seconds. ive reinstalled it 6 times yet still the exact same problem. what the hell can i be doing wrong? i did the EXACT same as you did in your video, and this is the 4th video ive watched on installing darthmod after it didnt work by following the instructions of the forum.
