Hello mate did mine very similar to yours bought mine before they brought out the new version so I have an adaptor cable , and before the NEC show mine of course are all done now but I've also added some details in the same place you hang your s4s and they're now indicators with the s4s lower down on a single circuit and the other two are on separate circuits which allows me to use them as indicators, next step is a sound bomb and real lights but that means I may have to install a second hexzeacan, , all fun and games but looks really good

Hi Sam, great videos all round thanks. On this installation you seem to be able to take off the side tank panels without removing the bottom ones. I myself have replaced the original orange tank side panels to replace with black ones but took off all other adjoining panels and for this I also had to remove engine bars, sump guard etc which I do not want to do again. Have bought Denali DM lights and I want to route the cables as you did but would like just to take off compartment, top tank panel and then side tank panels without removing anything else. Is this easily done ? Thanks, Rob
@SamVBikes2 жыл бұрын
Thank you bud! By the bottom panels, do you mean the textured parts around the bottom of the tank? If so, the uppers clip into the lower panels. I can't quite remember the way it worked, but loosen the top panels, pull them away from the tank and you'll feel the clips along the bottom along the line of the textured panel. When I did it the first time they just came away without even trying haha. But for the sake of not breaking clips, it's worth feeling for them first! If I remember rightly, they were ridged push connectors, so you push down to move the ridge away from the 2nd panels female part. Hope that helps!!

I think with all the cars having drl lights we have all become invisible. Maybe bikes should resort to a different colour ! But one thing is true if we go fast cars don't know we're going fast so they will pull out. They probably did see us just didn't expect us there so fast. Saying they didn't see you is easier than saying I thought I could get out before you got here.

Thank you! Removing the tank panels took under 15mins when you know where the bolts are. The whole job could be done in 1-2 hours including programming if you're not filming like I was haha! Ey’up Sam, so the bikes in bits, I’ve melted through one sound bomb hose 😞 and can’t seem to get the lights to strobe, tried flicking the switch in the app, could it be cause I’ve not connected the sound bomb due to no hose. Any ideas?
@SamVBikes2 жыл бұрын
Hey! If you have the switch turned on in the EZcan software, it should strobe with 3 pulls of the highbeam switch. Might be worth trying a different circuit too
@JaySalvoUK2 жыл бұрын
@@SamVBikes still no joy with strobing, what is the green wire for that comes from the EzCan next to the red plug? Also with the horn did you just connect red to positive and black to ground or do they meet to connect to the horn? Sorry to be a pain by the way.
@SamVBikes2 жыл бұрын
Ahh darn! The green wire is the horn trigger wire. So the stock horn stays in place, the denali horn fits to the bike. Denali connects to the EzCan, and the green wire goes to the stock horn. Pull off the connector on stocker, connect green wire, then put original connector onto piggyback on green wire. Basically that sends the signal back to the EzCan and then sends signal down the other wires to the denali horn! Lengthy explanation but hopefully that helps!

@SamVBikes2 жыл бұрын
Yes you should get a flashing green light when the bike is on, then a solid green light when plugged in. If fuse is okay, it might be the connection to the battery terminals. Try cleaning those and taking any other connections off first other than the bike power

@SamVBikes2 жыл бұрын
Hey! If you watch part 2, there's a little bit more shown in that for the wiring too. Mine basically had a wire going up each side of the tank for the lights, then comes out just under the charging phone box, straight down into the back of the lights.
