Hello! I have been getting ready to hack my OLED Vita a few times now, only to get discouraged with new released software almost everyday now. I have a 4 GB memory card and I purchased an SD2VITA adapter with a 128 GB MICROSD card. I am running 3.72 OFW. Can somebody please help me out with where to start and what videos to watch? Please any advice would be great.

@Tech James seems like the only way i was to downgrade mine was to the 3.65 into the moduru folder via my pc and i couldn't get the fireware to lock so i had get a diffrent version of enso from diffrent video and then it finally worked

i'm more of a 3.68 user but i do hate that h-encore2 shuts off my Vita. Could i download h-encore from autoplugin and go back to the original with no problems??

Did you run the temp CFW? If the CFW is active you will have the settings.

only just realised this myself since I got the error after multiple attempts, but there are 2 versions of enso, one released by yifanlu and the other by theOfficialFloW, the former working for 3.60 and the latter for 3.65

Yes alot of plugins doesn't work in 3.72 .( Plus enso )

Here's the breakdown...3.60 and 3.65 runs Permanet Enso Custom Firmware so you don't have to activate the hack each time you reboot. You will then need various plugins to make it run games released on newer firmware otherwise it's virtually the same - at the end of the day, cfw is to hack your Vita to run unsigned code to play copied games and run homebrew applications!

Fire 234ghj oh If you want enso maybe 3.65 is better for you if tech James says that’s the best firmware for it, I personally just use regular Henkaku and the offline email installer exploit when I reboot. I barely reboot and when I do the offline installer takes a few seconds on reenable Henkaku.

If you're on 3.60 - virtually the same as Enso 3.65 so don't do anything keep it as is!

But it up again in recovery mode, install official firmware of the version you were on then do whatever you want from there! It's fixable.

@@Revetonnn That's because you probably entered manual DNS settings as shown to block updates. Either say on temp CFW 3.70 and have to run the hack each time you reboot which only takes 5 seconds anyways, or downgrade to 3.65 and install Enso for permanent CFW. Personally, spending 20 minutes to get full CFW is worth it but you will have to install a few plugins to get the best out of it because some games only run on newer firmware so bear that in mind too. If you don't mind running the hack each time you reboot then just stay where you're at!

Easy...either place it in addcon_plain or addcon (follow instructions from where you got the game from)..depending on how it was dump, you may need to either install it with Vitashell, install it as a folder or VPK or use MaiDumpTool. Do your research!

@@rajann44 Yes very easy to uninstall. Tech James has a video how to reinstall original firmware. Basically, you uninstall the CFW and flash the original firmware over it. But why wouldn't you not want CFW? You can still go on the eshop and the console is virtually dead so soon you won't be able to play online anyway. Up to you though.
