How long did they take to ship and what is that rubber flare liner called and part number ? I recently ordered and would like them for mine :)
@CHUCKSNDUNKS5 жыл бұрын
Ralph Nguyen don’t remember how long processing took but once it shipped within a week. The trim I bought from 4 wheel parts, it’s bushwacker flare trim Part Number: B/W000055-01. If there’s one in your area go and have them order it gets there the next day and you don’t pay shipping.

Hey I have two questions I hope you can answer for me. 1 - Why is it necessary to trim the oem fenders prior to fitting the wide body flares on? I like the look of them but the commitment needed to cut oem parts scares me lol. 2 - Are your headlights the Spec-D brand or just off of ebay? I've heard people complain about fitment issues with them and how they're not a perfect fit. What's your take on them?
@CHUCKSNDUNKS6 жыл бұрын
Well the reason for riveted flares is to run bigger wider wheels or really meaty tires. Mounting the flares crates a new space when you cut off the oem fenders a space that the new wheels fill in. But you do have to be committed lol. The front fenders you can replace if you change your mind but replacing the quarter panels is an entirely different challenge. As for the headlights on this blobeye I believe they were just a aftermarket assembly like the spec-d. I’m not a fan of them on my Hawkeye i actually just opened the oem lights and fitted my own halos and light strips to my liking.

CHUCKSNDUNKS CHANNEL Yeah I get the purpose for the flares but wasn't sure if you could get away without cutting the fender to do so. That scares me lol. I'm familiar with opening up headlights and putting in custom projectors but I don't think I feel like going that route. I've done it on a couple of my motorcycles before. Where'd you get your projectors and mounting brackets to put them in your oem headlight assembly? Do you have pictures &/or video of you doing it?
@CHUCKSNDUNKS6 жыл бұрын
Viper3870750 im gonna make a video of it soon because I’m redoing my headlights again but if you see my instagram there’s a pic of them I thing before and after shot @chucksndunks
