Installing Front parking sensors in My Polo GT | 8K OPS Retrofit for Polo 6R.

In this video I have showcased the process of installation of 8K OPS, Ops - optical Parking system 8k- ops of in total 8 sensors .
This is a feature which is often seen in luxury sedans and even Superbs/Jettas/Passats, but it is possible to retrofit it into the Polo and that's exactly what I've done in this video

Awesome! I am thinking it would have been better if the graphics on the screen were rotated 90 deg CW. Would have been easier to read(now you have to do rotational transformation everytime in your head 😅). Anyway, you have to live with what it comes with. Great job!

With a composition media the ops would be displayed upright as you mentioned along with a camera input, but unfortunately with our head units, this is the best we get

His car has the RCD 340G. The one in your polo is the RCD 330

You'll need a kit with all 8 sensors, after wiring it all in, it'll work

So the auto module detects under 15kmph. Soo what happens while waiting in traffic signals. Will it keep on beeping if any vechicles stands very close to us?

It won't beep you're too close the vehicle up front, it just shows the display

Yes, volume can be reduced and with an on screen command beeping can be muted as well

It’s possible to install front pdc with ops to a golf 5 plus, back pdc is already there, but no ops.

I'm having Jetta Highline 2016 model with front and rear stock OPS sensors, only thing missing is Apple car play and android auto, can you suggest a new vw stereo that should support both apple car play and android auto along with park assist. Because I found that not every stereo with Android Auto and Apple car play is supporting the park assist feature with Ops sensors

I believe you have routed wires from wrong side thats why you feel they are long.

This kit is made with LHD spec in mind, ours is RHD, even then, this is the way to route them because grommet for firewall was on this side, if i were to route it from other side, the harness for sensor wire would be left short
