I like them. I have coil springs on the hood of my 98 Chevy. But I can't just release the hood like you can with those struts because I'll bend the corners. I just might look at put these on my truck. That's nice. Thanks for sharing!

I was ready to do it to my 93 4runner until you said 100 bucks. I replaced struts on a camper shell and a SUV and for just struts they were around 15 bucks for 2. So those brackets are where the money is at about 85 bucks. Works good tho.

The only time I raise the hood on my 2003 Tacoma is when I change oil every 3000 miles. Checking the oil and coolant level has been a waste of time. They are always fine. 😅
