I have spent the last day catching up on so many of your videos. Thank you so much for sharing all of your journey with us. I’ve been wanting to build a Strawbale home since I was 18 (I’m in my 40s now) and what you have done is so inspiring. This is one of the biggest Strawbale homes I’ve seen, so many are small studios, it’s nice to see a real family home. I love how your kids are working right along with you. You two have a lot of patience with them. I just love it.

It looks pretty chilly there, how is the heat retention with this kind of straw house?

honestly, it's hard to say. we haven't lived a full winter in the house (only a couple random blizzards this spring)... it is much much better than our old trailer house is all I can say for now!
