in the last video i painted one layer of red on the jon boat well over the last 4 or 5 days i painted 3 extra layers on paint on the jon boat and today i got to work on installing the hinges and the latches for the hatches on the jon boat to bass boat conversion, i hope you are enjoying the build series, subscribe for fure build videos coming soon!! the boat is starting to look amazing!!
It all started when my mom met my dad and they fell in love and they had me, Hi im Adam Ryan, and my life.. is kinda crazy!! Hey.. I'm doing my carpet tomorrow. I have 1/2 inch plywood.. my question is what size staples should I use and also is it a certain kind I need to use? Thanks in advance

I would use the longest stables that you can use without going through the other side, and I would use stainless steal staples if you can find them or they will rust, or you can spray paint the stables while they are still together to match the color of the carpet to hide them better and that will also help with rust

Ryan Cut down the hatch door around the trolling motor so you can keep your hatch. Attache the piece that is under the trolling motor permanently. Boom you have a angled hatch door that goes around the trolling motor. Attache hinges on the long side of hatch door. Not hard to do just a little re carpeting.

Getting more impressive within each video. Here's a thought that came into mind incase you haven't thought about it, putting some of them strips of LED Lights for night fishing and cool look as well.

Allot of people have set the trolling motor sideways to allow more storage space. That would give you your hatch back

Like how you made your casting deck just below the round lip at the top of the gunnel. I always see people making the mistake of trying to go right tot he very top. Yours looks awesome.
