Great upgrade, the T10 can also be known as 501 or W5W for anyone looking for similar 👍🏻 commonly used as sidelights & parking lights.

Love the lesson and upgrade. When I upgraded my 'dummy' lights to LED, I specifically did not complete the brights indicator because, at night, the LED would have been unpleasantly bright (and was happy I never changed it). What has been your experience with the overall gauge lights since your upgrade at night?

I know what you mean, you don't want it so bright that it becomes a distraction. But, I haven't found the LEDs to be so bright that it becomes annoying. With the original incandescent bulbs (which had become dimmer with time) I didn't really use my gauges at night because by the time my eyes focused on the numbers too much time would pass with my eyes off the road. With the brighter and especially the whiter color LEDs, you can take an instant glance and get a reading. I should also mention that I typically ride now with a Zumo XT GPS, which in one sense competes with the gauges. The GPS does dim automatically at night but it's still a fairly bright screen, and with the previously dim gauges my attention would be drawn to the GPS rather than the gauges.

I guess you used T5 Led in remplacement of the T6.5. I have juste changed the 3bulbs T10 on my T100 2009 but I found out that there is still a T6.5 incandescent in the speedometer that I need to change.

@@tinderboxarts I see. Back then the T5 led bulbs where not that polular. That's why the kit was interesting. I will try with my method and let you know.

got them in mine they work /then stop/ i have to take em apart and touch em/ they turn back on/ weird

The quality of LED lighting varies tremendously. You may just have poor quality bulbs which you should replace. Another potential issue is just dirty or loose contacts.
