The Dell OptiPlex 3060 SFF has an M.2 socket that supports both PCIe NVMe and SATA M.2 drives, like the Dell OptiPlex 7040 SFF. However, this socket is limited to PCIe 2.0 x4, which cuts the NVMe speed in half - 1.5 GB/s. This configuration works well for gaming and non-work-related tasks. For better performance, you can use a PC that supports PCIe 3.0 x4, {which is why the Dell OptiPlex 7040 SFF is better in this regard, despite having a CPU (Intel i5 6600) and not an Intel i5 8600, which is newer}, where the speed of your NVMe drive will be doubled.

@@mohdtausf99 in my case, I am quite well, I do almost everything and it does not give me any problem.I don't know if I suggest you buy a new one, considering the 4 GB of ram to be upgraded of the basic model, for sure I do not recommend the i3 are less of the previous i5 8500. If I had to buy it I would go directly to an i5 9500 mini tower, so as to add better cards than the low profile ones and more ram that doesn't hurt. if you saw in the video, I had an i3 replaced then with i7, the pc was much better. I want to add another ram stick of 8gb .My OptiPlex SFF comes with 8GB DDR4 2666MHz, Hynix HMA81GS6CJR8N-VK, 1.2V and I can not find this Hynix memory in my country You know, mixing ram brands even with the same speed, size, voltage, CAS Latency,can cause issues. Does you OptiPlex come with Hynix, does Hynix is compatible with the newly installed Timetec memory ? I do not if the Hynix will work with brands such as Crucial, Corsair,what could you tell from your experience?

I've mixed memory in the past and have not had issues if they are the same voltage, speed, etc. I would try to buy it from somewhere that allows you to return it if you have issues.

I have two cables going to the hard drive and the disk drive one of the cables out side is called Cata0 and it's blue does that go to the disk drive and there is another one that fits into the memory drive and is name Sata 1 do you know which one goes where?

Hard Drive and Disk Drive are usually the same thing. It should have two cables, one is for data and the other for Power. The data cable plugs into the motherboard and the power cable goes into the power supply.

Bro Normally psu bist light blink everytime you plug the computer. Right. But now , i plug no sign of light anymore. (Dell 3060 sff psu) Bro how do know the power supply is dead. I try to test my psu, only psu motherboard and processor are intact. My psu is BIST BUTTON FREE. I remove the 4pin 8pin connector from the motherboard , then plug the psu. The Bist light glow for 3 second, i put back again, it won't glow. No sign of light, I try also psu test using paper clip method jamper black and green the psu bist light glow and the fan is spinning Is my motherboard is dead or my psu?

What type of nmve m.2 drive can i use? i only have 2tb 3.5" drive in my 3060 sff right now.

I don't think you can use an nmve drive unless it has the slot to support it or you buy a conversion kit. The easier solution would be to get a standard SSD drive because it has the same plugs as the 3.5 drive you already have.
