My frosty just closes when trying to add a mod. And when I open it again and try to add a mod again, it says that mod already exists, even tho it's not displayed, an closes. When trying to run the game, it doesn't load any mods and prompts me to update DataPath plugin. But when I try to do that, I "don't have the permissions" to do it, even tho I am the admin. And the game is forever stuck on a loading screen

Frosty doesn't work with unbound anymore and the version that did is permanently removed

And now Vol. 3 came out and Frosty doesnt work yet again...... There is no update. There is no fix. I have been looking for three days. Reddit, google, duckduckgo, wikipedia, LTT forums, other forums.................... There is no work around that I can find (within my tech skill capabilities)

No matter what I try, when I try launching the game it just opens up the EA launcher, and loops. I bought the game on steam. All I'm trying to use is RAGI, but it won't launch the game at all. I don't get any errors after installing the mods or anything. Even when I disable all the mods in Frosty, the game still doesn't launch. I had to uninstall and re-install the game for it to even launch again.

I had the same problem the first time I tried to install the mods with this frosty mod manager, the game just didn’t want to start. After I reinstalled it and applied the mods again, the game launched normally. But I still recommend after reinstalling the game make a backup of data folder so in case your game doesn’t wants to start again, you can just restore the data folder.

@@fueledwithboost It was weird, I did use the backup function, and the game still wouldn't launch after restoring. But after some trial and error, what worked for me was using the second link in the RAGI page, the one with the Datapath fix, and going into comparability settings, and setting the datapath to admin.

Did the patch completed without any errors? And which mods are you using, make sure the mods were made or updated after the update of nfs unbound, some older mods can make your game crash

I think reinstalling the game may fix the an exception error has been caught the given key was not found in the dictionary.

Yeah most likely. There isn’t an exact fix for this so just repairing your game files or reinstalling it together with frosty is your best bet to fix this

The old frosty should still work, it was just removed from nexus mods page so you can’t download it anymore and now the only way is with this new version of frosty

I had the same problem for Need for Speed Heat couldn't figure it out. Then someday I reinstalled the game together with frosty and it somehow decided to work. I really don't know what the issue could be but the best bet is to just try to reinstall the game and frosty.

I have broken this manager. Gives an error message. I began to do it all over again, and for some reason the SDK module started up. And it loaded only after I launched the game. I copied the mods, and they were already activated, activated. I did a backup, but when I make a patch, the manager gives an error and gives a crash log. I do not know what to do. Hmm I'm not sure what the problem could be, I saw some people having this kind of issue for FIFA games. Maybe try to reinstall the game or just verify game files and then install frosty and try again if works.

Start the game while this window is shown, for me it loaded the "sdk". Let it run till the last point. i guess it was "creating the sdk". for me it took just few seconds, but after that i load into the game, because i wasn't sure what to do. After that i closed the game and it finished the process.
