We have different content in our catalog that you might like or find interesting. That's a cover plate. It's normally use for direct gauge harness (from alternator to gauge). Which your dash gauge or volt meter, would directly connect to. The truck in the video is a true custom freightliner from the manufacturer and had different specs applied to it. One of which eliminated the use of direct wiring harness to the volt meter gauge on the dashboard. I hope this helps.

@@MahlonTane thanks. Will do. got it. I'm trying to figure out if I have a bad remote sense fuse or wire. Any idea where the fuse would be on a 2019 cascadia.? Hoping my alternator is failing

@@thadiesel7655 Have you looked through your circuit breaker? what made you think it's the sense fuse or wire? Do you have anywhere close by to get your alternator bench tested? Have you checked the batteries? I don't mean to add more questions to your question brother

@@MahlonTane I was thinking the sense wire because of the voltage spikes. The spikes only last 10 to 15 seconds but the truck goes crazy when it happens. I actually unplugged the sense wire from the alternator and haven't had a spike since. I was afraid of damaging my brand new agm batteries. I think the sense wire might be loose and grounding out on something
