FYI-for the push plates get a 4x16 set measure 2" on plate marking center, then lineup center of plate on backset used..makes nice centered look once new door prep is done. Nice job!!

Nice tip 👍🏻 In this case the holes were misshaped and I was trying to find the sweet spot to cover it all, then I replicated on the other side which had less to cover. Thanks for watching!

Ultimately we do whatever the customer wants. The end result was solid. But other than the front door. I would’ve preferred to install new doors and repair the door jams.

Yeah the customer wanted to repair not replace.

Juan is correct. New door or call someone else would have been my diagnosis. That door has very little strength to begin with, now it has nearly none in the one place it needs it most. What the heck was on those doors before you got there?!

@@drue6360 they had some over seas cheap finger print locks. After rebuilding and repairing the door it works perfectly and the customer is happy, wasn’t hard to get it to be secure and has plenty of support.
