I just wanted to point something out. Hopefully this will help somebody avoid an issue in the future. I've got my TV mounted and it looks great. When you pull it straight out it's centered. However I wasn't thinking about the fact that because the arm is over a foot long that when you slide it to the right or left to lay it flat. It won't be centered anymore. So I should have put it another foot and a half or so over on the next stud. Oh, well. Lesson learned

I really appreciate you making this video! It's very helpful. I just wanted to point out. I noticed that you didn't show how you found the stud, and some people have never done that before. Also, some people might need to to be taught how to measure and center the TV in the right place on their wall . I really like your video though thanks😊

Hi there, do you know if this TV mount tilts? We bought and installed it because it was labeled full motion and yet we can't seem to figure out how to tilt it downward 😅

It does tilt if ya want. The bolts to tilt it are right near the top of the mounting arm where the faceplate attaches to the mount. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nmaliIGoecd8ldUsi=fjF9eSb1TYSbwdfi at around 10:48, I show the bolts to loosen to allow it to angle. It is a different model, but the bolts are in the same place on this one and even look the same.

You could muster through with hand tools, it'll just take more effort and time. In place of a stud finder, you could try a pinpointer to locate nails in the wall. You could use a magnet to also try to find existing nails.

Same issue. We have a 32 inch Vizio the M4 30mm screws were too small; they would not screw all the way into face plate / t.v. The M6 35mm screws were too big. We even tried using the arms to no avail. 🤦‍♀️

I would have put the 1st screw in the middle as you did, but I would have leveled and then tighten it. Then drill pilot holes top and bottom. But that's just me.

That would depend on why they aren't visible. If they aren't visible because it's too close to the wall, pull the extension arm out, then hang the TV with faceplate onto it, this way you can have room behind it to see and get tool.

The extension arm is attached to the piece that gets bolted to the wall. There's no need to attach it, as it is already attached.
