It's amazing what you can do with bits of spare wood.

Hi Josh, fridges/freezers should always be run in the upright position. The coolant and oil in the compressor don’t work efficiently otherwise. Not sure if this applies to little 12v models like yours.

Just checked mobicool B40 hybrid specifications. It has a thermoelectric cooling unit that runs when using 12v (no coolant) But when using 240v the compressor kicks in which does use coolant.

Ah, I thought so. Well, it seems to be working fine atm, but we're keep an eye on it

Always run fridge on eco mode and replace the cigarette lighter with an Anderson plug , the plug that goes into cigarette socket has a spring and always wants to pop out exactly on bumpy rds then fridge stops working , also with a warm fridge best to run overnight hooked up to mains power then switch over to 12volt but make sure the food and drinks you putting in are already cold helps the fridge stay cold and saves on power drain

Got it on the lowest setting, it does seem to be a bit juicy. Yeah the 12v socket didn't work out as you'll see, we just hard wired it in.
